Integrated Proven Methodologies
The 8 Multiple Intelligences
|
Dr. Howard Gardener of Harvard University developed the Multiple Intelligences Theory. This theory states that each person contains 8 different intelligences or ways in which we learn best.
He proposes that each person has areas of strength, which is the key to effective learning for that individual.
eMods not only supports the area of strength in each person, but automatically strengthens the remaining intelligences, thus creating a balanced learner. By creating a balanced learner, all 8 intelligences are engaged, thus enabling the person to use specific intelligences they may not have actively engaged before.

Differentiated Instruction
 |
eMod Learning Systems support the different ways people learn by using a design structure that creates optional methods through which learners take in content and make sense of ideas.
Rather than having learners "adapt" to information and new material, information delivered using eMod Learning Systems adapts to the learners, thus concurrently supporting the various learning styles and abilities of a wide range of diverse learners.

Bloom's Taxonomy
|
Educational Psychologist Benjamin Bloom developed a multi-tiered model of classifying thinking using six levels important in learning. He found that 95% of questions only engaged the lowest level of human intellect, that being the recall of information.
eMod Learning Systems using the PLT Platform supports all six levels of this model as it addresses the very nature of how humans learn and encourages the process of thinking and discovery.

Johari’s Window
|
Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham created this tool for learners to better understand their communications and relationships with the outside world. The Johari’s Window divides personal awareness into four different sections, as represented by its four quadrants:
-
Things I know about me and others know about me—this is our public side
-
Things I know about me that others don’t know about me—this is our private side
-
Things I don’t know about me that others do know about mw—this is our vulnerable side
-
Things I don’t know about me and others don’t know about me—this is our unknown side and requires faith to move through

Left Brain / Right Brain Balance
The combination of proven theories and an effective architecture enables eMod Learning Systems to support all learners by delivering information to both the Left Brain and Right Brain concurrently. This method of delivery ensures that learners are engaged in making logical sense of the content and an emotional connection to concepts and ideas. This balance creates an effective learning experience for each individual and plays a major role in overcoming learning challenges such as ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia.
